Sport Rebound Boards (RIGA and WISA)

As an alternative to mesh rebound systems, e.g. Twin Wire and 358 above, a range of special plywood sports rebound panels are available. These are specially manufactured for the industry and have a smooth dark green or brown phenolic face and are triple edge sealed. The ply laminates are graded and glued so as to be water and boil proof (they are literally tested by being bolied in water). Be wary of cheap alternatives such as simple marine ply which will not last under external conditions with repeated ball impact.
